Virginia Wesleyan University's annual Commencement ceremonies are held at the end of spring semester. These ceremonies bring the University community together to recognize and celebrate graduating students and to mark the achievement of degrees.
Commencement is held outdoors on the University Commons in front of the Greer Environmental Sciences Center. In the event of severe weather, the ceremony is moved to the Convocation Center inside the Jane P. Batten Student Center on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan University (Campus Map/Parking). Tickets may be required based on the size of the graduating class and expected guests.

Commencement ticket information: No tickets are required provided the 2018 Commencement Ceremony takes place as scheduled outdoors on the University Commons. In the event of severe weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Convocation Center inside the Jane P. Batten Student Center and each graduating student will receive up to seven tickets for guests.
