Welcome to the home page for Campus Ministries. God is doing great things on campus! You’ll find all of the info about our worship gatherings, small groups and ministries. Located inside the Jane P. Batten Student Center, the Campus Ministries Lounge is open whenever the Batten Center is open! Students, staff, faculty and campus visitors are invited to come by and enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and our never-ending bowl of candy. Everyone is encouraged to unwind in the comfort of the lounge with friends, study, play video games or a challenging game of chess, or chill out on the comfy couch. You will always find a welcoming community in the Campus Ministries Lounge.
Mission statement
The mission of Campus Ministries is to provide a Christian interdenominational campus ministry of discipleship, evangelism, service, counseling, hospitality and faith-related educational initiatives to students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community surrounding Virginia Wesleyan University. The Director of Campus Ministries is available to assist students of other faiths to gather together, create a place for worship and create community on campus.
