Director of Enterprise Resources

Virginia Wesleyan University is accepting applications for the position of Director of Enterprise Resources. The position is a full-time, 12 month staff position. As a key member of the technology leadership team, the Director of Enterprise Resources provides technical leadership and overall management for enterprise level applications and resources. This includes managing institutional applications and the Enterprise Resource teams as they analyze needs, implement purchased software, design and write systems applications and enhancements to local and cloud applications. The Director of Enterprise Resources primarily supports the university’s Student Information System and the integration of a wide range of hardware and software platforms to provide expanding university programs. This position provides vision to these areas in order to best serve the university’s data needs.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field or equivalent experience, 4 years of experience in managing a technical applications and deployment team, 7-10 years’ experience with Ellucian’s Colleague, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to provide “hands on” management of daily development and deployment activities. Qualified candidates will also have proven skills in database design, applications and functional analysis, software management and testing.
