Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

The qualified applicant will report to the Head Coach of Women's Soccer. This position is a full-time, twelve-month position beginning June 4th, 2022. Preference will be given to applicants who can bring diverse perspectives to this growing department and who are motivated to help students succeed.

The individual will assist in all phases of the Women's Soccer program including competition and practice planning (traditional and non-traditional season), mentoring of students, recruitment and development of student-athletes, equipment, contests, social media and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Additionally, a thorough understanding of and accountability to NCAA, Old Dominion Athletic Conference and institutional rules and regulations is necessary.

Interested applicants for this position will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred), from an accredited institution. Preference will be given to applicants with college coaching experience and/or experience as a college soccer student-athlete. Applicants should have a commitment to work in a dynamic work setting with a diverse student population.

This position has been designed as forward facing and as such, the incumbent will be required to be immunized against COVID-19 on or before their first day of employment. Proof of vaccination and booster status, or an attestation to the same effect, will be required.
