Enrollment Counselor

Virginia Wesleyan University is accepting applications for an Enrollment Counselor for the Center of Enrollment Services. The Enrollment Counselor, will make outreach to prospective students via telephone, text messaging, and email to generate interest in the University. The Enrollment counselor will track applicant progress to facilitate movement through the enrollment funnel. The Enrollment Counselor will collaborate across campus to develop relationships to assist in recruitment. The successful applicant will represent the University at off-campus events and assist in the coordination of on-campus events related to recruitment. Will report to the Vice President for Enrollment.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and preferably at least 2 years of higher education experience. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable interacting with people in a team-based environment. Ideal candidate will have exemplary written and oral communication skills as well as better than average computer skills.
