Lecturer in Management, Business, and Economics

VIRGINIA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY (www.vwu.edu) invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Management, Business, and Economics, specializing in the instruction of Accounting. Candidates should have an earned Master’s or Doctorate degree, and a CPA or other professional designation is highly desired. The position begins in August 2023.

The University seeks a candidate with a strong commitment to teaching, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and student advising. The successful candidate will also have a demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse multicultural community. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses in Accounting such as Principles of Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Accounting Theory, and Accounting Information Systems. Courses are taught in both in-person and online formats. The salary is competitive, and the University offers an attractive benefits package.
