Lecturer, University Physics and Physical Science

Virginia Wesleyan University invites applicants for a full-time Lecturer specializing in the instruction of University Physics and Physical Science to begin in August 2023. Candidates should have an earned Master’s or Doctorate degree and college-level teaching experience and will have shown excellent teaching skills fostering student learning from diverse backgrounds. The successful candidate will teach 10 course components, i.e. each lab and lecture, over the academic year. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. and demonstrated experience in teaching university-level physics, although candidates with a M.S. or 18 graduate semester hours in Physics will be considered.
