Welcome Center Coordinator
Virginia Wesleyan University is accepting applications for a Welcome Center Coordinator for the David L. Kaufman Center for Enrollment. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing direct or indirect assistance to other offices/departments with student records, assist in the development and implementation of policy and procedure related to processing applications, and use of the CRM database. Will manage the enrollment office campus visit process, including but not limited to: monitoring the enrollment email account for visit registrations and updates, arranging campus visits over the phone, greeting visitors, and providing additional enrollment information as needed. This position will also handle the office’s main phone line and assist colleagues with clerical operations including mailings, compiling of informational packets, organizing receptions for visiting groups, etc. Successful applicant will report to the Vice President for Enrollment.
Successful applicant will possess a positive and energetic personality, have strong interpersonal skills, and will be comfortable interacting with people in a team-based environment. Must be committed to customer service, have better than average computer skills, have extensive experience in data management, possess exemplary written and oral communication as well as proofreading skills. Position requires attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills.
