Graduates of the Virginia Wesleyan University Business major should be able to:

The Management/Business/Economics faculty endeavor to provide a practical business education in the context of a commitment to the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) as developed by the United Nations in support its Global Compact – a framework of universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption. This is done within an environment which affirms the free exchange of ideas, values intellectual effort, encourages close student-faculty relationships by providing small classes, allows flexible curriculum options, and which seeks to constantly improve through the efforts of all participants. Successful Business graduates leave Virginia Wesleyan with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to manage society's rapidly changing institutions both efficiently and humanely.
