For our project we constructed a skeletal mount of a Black-casqued Hornbill (Ceratogymna atrata). We obtained a disarticulated skeleton from Skulls Unlimited, identified each bone, and determined how it articulated with the adjacent bones. Holes were drilled in the ends of long bones to connect each of the larger bones with supporting wires. Smaller bones were glued together and the entire skeleton was assembled into a lifelike position for display.
