NORFOLK/VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA
NOVEMBER 2016

An official signing ceremony was held on campus Sept. 29 to mark Virginia Wesleyan's partnership with the NATO-ACT Innovation Hub. As part of the College's ongoing relationship with NATO-ACT, this newest agreement enables VWC students of all majors to intern with the Innovation Hub beginning in the spring 2017 semester. By bringing together people with different backgrounds and perspectives, the Innovation Hub fosters collaboration and generates better understanding of current NATO challenges. Pictured at top are myself and Air Marshal Graham Stacey, Chief of Staff, NATO Allied Command Transformation. Pictured (at bottom) are myself, Air Marshall Stacey, Irene BargueƱo, a Virginia Wesleyan senior majoring in international studies and political science and the first VWC student to serve as an intern for the Innovation Hub, and Dr. Timothy O'Rourke, VWC Provost and Vice President.
