Thirty-nine members of the Virginia Wesleyan community were recognized on April 19 at an Employee Appreciation Breakfast held in Boyd Dining Center. Employees were honored for achieving significant milestones in their careers at VWU—from a decade of service to working at the institution for 30 years. Seven employees reached the 30-year service mark this year.

“I am personally grateful for all you have done during my first three years at Virginia Wesleyan,” President Scott D. Miller told the group. “It is a time of unprecedented excellence, opportunity, and growth for VWU, and each one of you has been critical in bringing us to this pivotal point in our history.”

The honorees enjoyed breakfast and were presented with special certificates and tokens of appreciation.
