College Names Vice President for Enrollment
David Waggoner will lead Virginia Wesleyan's Center for Enrollment Services

Virginia Wesleyan College has announced the appointment of David Waggoner as vice president for enrollment, effective December 7.
Waggoner will lead Virginia Wesleyan’s Center for Enrollment Services, which includes admission for all traditional and non-traditional programs. He will report to Virginia Wesleyan College President Scott D. Miller and will serve as a member of the President’s Cabinet.
"We are excited to have David join our leadership team and guide the work of attracting talented, diverse, and engaged learners who value the distinct liberal arts educational experience that Virginia Wesleyan offers,” says President Miller. “David has proven experience in recruiting and retaining students that positions him well to support the College’s continued success with a new generation of learners.”
Waggoner previously served as associate vice president for admission at the University of Baltimore; assistant vice president for admission at Monmouth University; dean of enrollment at The French Culinary Institute (now International Culinary Center); and associate dean of admission and financial aid at Upsula College. He is also a former vice president of Premier Communications, a marketing consulting firm on student enrollment strategies, and Miller/Cook & Associates, an enrollment consulting firm. He holds a B.A. in political science/psychology from the University of Kansas and an M.A. from the University of Missouri.
