Virginia Private College Week Goes Virtual

Receive a $1,000 Visit Grant when you visit campus virtually July 20-24

University News | July 9, 2020

Rising high school juniors and seniors interested in attending Virginia Wesleyan University are invited to participate in this year's virtual Virginia Private College Week from July 20-24, hosted by the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia (CICV).

Prospective traditional and transfer students will receive a VWU Visit Grant applicable to tuition (spring 2021 or later) with a value of $1,000 upon enrollment at Virginia Wesleyan. Guests will also be entered into a CICV drawing to win one of five $100 Amazon Gift Cards.

Virginia Wesleyan, along with 22 other member institutions, will offer virtual information sessions about admission, financial aid, and academic programs. Enrollment counselors will also address common myths about the cost of a private college education. Those who take part in virtual content at three or more participating colleges will receive three application fee waivers.

VWU offers private school quality with public school affordability. With an average institutional award of just under $20,000 and a total average financial aid package of approximately $33,000, Virginia Wesleyan’s generous grant and merit award programs—along with federal and state aid—mean that you don’t have to compromise.

Come learn about why VWU has repeatedly been chosen as one of the nation’s best by The Princeton Review and featured in its guide, The Best 385 Colleges: 2020 Edition.

Virtual information sessions at Virginia Wesleyan will be held July 20-24 (Monday-Friday) at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Evening sessions will be held July 21 (Tuesday) and July 23 (Thursday) at 7 p.m. Register online or call 757.455.3208 for more information.
