University News | March 24, 2026
Each spring, the campus of Virginia Wesleyan University comes alive with a familiar and meaningful tradition—welcoming alumni back home. On April 10–11, 2026, Marlins from across generations are invited to return to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the enduring spirit of VWU during Spring Alumni Weekend. The annual gathering is a highlight of the University calendar, bringing together graduates, families, faculty, and friends for two days of celebration and connection.
Attendees will have the chance to engage in a variety of activities designed to foster connection and pride, from social gatherings and class reunions to campus events that showcase the University’s continued growth and momentum. Whether returning for the first time in years or making the weekend an annual tradition, participants often find both nostalgia and new experiences waiting for them on campus.
The weekend coincides with a season filled with student performances, academic milestones, and community events—offering alumni a full picture of life at VWU today. From the arts to athletics, the University continues to thrive, and Spring Alumni Weekend invites former students to be part of that ongoing story.
For many, the most meaningful moments will be the simplest ones: reconnecting with classmates, sharing memories, and walking the campus pathways once again. These shared experiences reinforce what it means to be part of the Marlin family—where connections last well beyond graduation.
As Virginia Wesleyan looks toward the future, Spring Alumni Weekend serves as a reminder that its strength lies in its community—past, present, and future. This April, alumni are invited to come home, celebrate their journey, and rediscover the place where it all began!
