Chemistry Students Inducted into Gamma Sigma Epsilon Honor Society (04-24-2025)

GSE Initiation

Virginia Wesleyan University proudly announces the induction of 12 students into the Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Gamma Sigma Epsilon, the national chemistry honor society. Founded in 1919 at Davidson College, Gamma Sigma Epsilon recognizes students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement in the field of chemistry. To qualify for membership, students must complete a minimum of 16 credit hours in chemistry with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in those courses, and maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0.

The Epsilon Epsilon Chapter at VWU, established in 2008 with the guidance of Dr. Joyce Easter, continues to foster academic excellence and a passion for chemistry among its members. This induction ceremony highlights the university's commitment to supporting students in their pursuit of scientific knowledge and professional growth.
