Spotlight on 2017-18 Marlin Scholars

The Honors and Scholars Program at Virginia Wesleyan University has been rewarding stellar students by providing them with expanded opportunities for scholarship, leadership and service since 1985. The Program encourages academic excellence and ensures that students have an intellectually enriching and challenging experience.

Four VWU seniors, Nicholas Hipple, Alana Peters, R. Kellan Phillips and Zoe Traficante, have been recently featured on the Marlin Scholars Spotlights page of the VWU website.  Learn more about these outstanding students and their experiences in the Honors and Scholars Program and on campus. All are actively involved in campus organizations and have engaged in research, internships, or study away to make the most of their Virginia Wesleyan experience.

In addition, the 2017 fall issue of the Intellectual Inquirer, the VWC Honors & Scholars newsletter, is now available on our website. The Intellectual Inquirer is compiled and edited by Dean of the Batten Honors College and Professor of Chemistry, Joyce Easter, and the VWC Honors and Scholars Association President, Nich Hipple.

The 2017 fall issue features a message from the Association’s president, a senior spotlight on Shelby Emch, and the following feature articles:
