Prerequisite: A+ Certification Prep Workshop or IT Experience (Resume Required).

Microsoft Office Specialist - Excel Certification Prep – Associate

This workshop is designed for those in the workforce who may be new to a professional position, as well as those who are somewhat experienced professionals. All will benefit from the detailed analysis and process management approaches presented in the class. Students will learn to define and apply commonly used Lean Quality Tools. These Lean tools will be applied to real-life and professional examples. Students will also learn to define and map steps in a process; identify process wastes; and apply basic “Lean” techniques to make them more efficient.
Personal Trainer Certification Course (LIVE Lectures + In-Person Practical Skills Labs)

Get all the information needed to become a Certified Personal Trainer. This NCCA-accredited program is approved for three college credits toward a degree. Topics will cover 15 hours on anatomy, exercise physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, nutrition, and more. The weekly in-person practical skill labs will feature role-play and review essential hands-on skills to master assessing clients, stretching, warm-ups/cool-downs, exercise analysis, and programming design.
Cost: Students are responsible for purchasing the required textbook, “Fitness Professional’s Handbook” (7th Edition, Howley, Edward T., and Thompson, Dixie L. 2017).
The e-book costs $74 and the hardcover version is $99 plus $15.95 for shipping.
