August 9 - October 4

Microsoft Excel Certification Training
Mondays/Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Virginia Wesleyan University (Greer Center, Room 240)

Participants will learn to create, modify, and format Microsoft Excel worksheets, perform calculations, and print workbooks. Teaches formulas and formatting techniques, use of lists, illustrations, and charts. Also showcases Excel’s advanced features, such as pivot tables, audit worksheets, data tools, macros, and collaboration methods.


September 13 – November 3

Effective Customer Service Training with Soft Skills Certificate Training
Mondays/Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Strengthen your soft skills to enhance your employability. Some of the soft skills employers look for are active listening, clear and concise communication, positive language, and customer empathy. This workshop prepares participants for frontline roles and positions employees for advancement within the industry. Learn the key skills that are needed to provide high-quality customer service.

Fundamentals of Technical Analysis

In this professional development workshop, you will learn about the various patterns, indicators, and analysis techniques traders use when studying the price of a stock. Participants will also learn about identifying trend and reversal patterns and finding support and resistance levels.


September 18 – November 6

Project Management Essentials With CAPM Prep
Saturdays from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Participants will gain skills essential to project managers and those in support roles, with course materials aligned with the internationally recognized standards of project management. Oriented to concepts such as time, cost, risk, and communication. Once completed, participants will meet or exceed the educational prerequisites for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification offered through the Project Management Institute (PMI®).

Intermediate and Advanced Excel Training
