Recruitment Schedule

Panhellenic Conference - Sororities
(Alpha Sigma Alpha and Sigma Sigma Sigma)

Panhellenic sororities participate in a continuous open bidding (COB) recruitment format, which is used throughout the academic year. These COB events are free and open to any woman interested in joining a Panhellenic sorority. There is no minimum attendance requirement, but women increase their chances of getting an invitation to membership (bid) by attending as many events as their schedules allow. Women who receive multiple invitations to membership must select one to accept. All interested women must sign the Fraternity & Sorority Life Interest Form to be eligible to receive an invitation to membership. There is no obligation to join. High school or college grades will be checked to verify eligibility. More details will be provided at the beginning of each semester.

National Pan-Hellenic Council Organizations
(Alpha Kappa Alpha, Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, and Zeta Phi Beta)

Alpha Kappa Alpha, Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, and Zeta Phi Beta use a recruitment process known as membership intake. The process is by invitation only. Students who are interested in joining one of these organizations should attend information sessions and other chapter-hosted programs to meet the current members and find out more about their traditions and requirements. All interested students must sign the Fraternity & Sorority Life Interest Form to be eligible to proceed with membership intake or accept an invitation to membership. High school or college grades will be checked to verify eligibility. More details will be provided when the chapters schedule information sessions.
