The Learning Center coordinates tutorial and student academic support services at Virginia Wesleyan University including subject tutoring, the Writing and Speaking Studio, Academic Advising, and Disability Support Services.
Subject Tutoring
Free tutoring by specially trained, top ranked students is available for almost all subject areas classes.
Writing and Speaking Studio
The Writing and Speaking Studio offers one-on-one writing, speaking, and presentation support with professional Writing Consultants and highly trained peer tutors.
Computer Labs
Virginia Wesleyan University provides computer resources throughout the campus including five computer labs including several open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Instructional Technology
Instructional Technology Services provides access to support and training in the use of Academic Software for both faculty and students.
