Priority Admissions to Appalachian School of Law

Virginia Wesleyan students from a variety of different majors can gain priority admission to Appalachian School of Law (ASL).  This pathway is intended for students completing their undergraduate degree in a typical time frame (4 years).

Priority admissions requires a 3.0 cumulative GPA and an LSAT score of at least 150.  The ASL Juris Doctor program includes broad training in the theory and practice of law, as well as opportunities for focused study in Litigation, Criminal Law, Natural Resource Law, and the legal aspects of Cybersecurity.  Study at ASL emphasizes experiential learning, including externships, internships, client clinics, community engagement, and upper level practicum experiences.
