The Teacher Education Program at Virginia Wesleyan University is known for excellence in preparing classroom teachers. We believe that it takes the entire university to prepare a teacher; therefore, all of our endorsement programs integrates the liberal arts, the program of general studies, and the appropriate sequence of professional education courses.

All education programs have been carefully designed to respond to the competencies detailed in the Regulations Governing the Review and Approval of Education Programs in Virginia, published by the Virginia Department of Education.

See an Education Department faculty member or visit the Education Office in Pruden 103 for the appropriate advising form that lists all the required courses for your endorsement area.
