Virginia Wesleyan University's Recertification and Continuing Education Program for Educators offers a discount for licensed and provisionally licensed teachers in Virginia. This program is perfect for educators in need of courses that lead to certification renewal or those wishing to advance from a provisional to an official license.
Educators may take courses at the undergraduate or graduate level. Educators providing proof of their Virginia Department of Education licensure (provisional or official) can register for these courses through the Recertification and Continuing Education Program for Educators and receive a discount of 50% off the current cost per credit hour for online and evening and weekend students. Courses are taught in person or online (asynchronous instruction).
Please submit the Recertification and Continuing Education Program Discount Request Form to the Financial Aid Office once you have registered for courses each term with proof of licensure to receive the discount.
