Homecoming & Family Weekend is only days away, and Marlin spirit is building for the festivities scheduled for October 2-4. For the first time, virtual activities will engage Marlins near and far in this year’s unprecedented celebration.
Get ready to enjoy campus traditions such as Marlin Spirit Day, Chili Cook-Off the Class of 1970 Reunion, and the Marlin Fringe Festival, as well as some new traditions such as the Virtual Marlin 5k and an Alumni Esports Exhibition!

Dr. Jason Squinobal, Director of Instrumental Ensembles (Saxophone) is joined by VWU adjunct faculty and members of Virginia Symphony Orchestra Mike Laubach (Drums) and Will McPeters (Bass). Trio Atomic goes live with their new album, performed and recorded from the stage in the Joan and Macon Brock Theatre in the Susan S. Goode Fine and Performing Arts Center.
